Springwood School

Springwood School, located one hour from the Atlanta International Airport, offers a welcome home to international students. 2020 marks Springwood’ss 50th year of excellence in independent, college preparatory high school education. Located in Lanett, Alabama, Springwood’s beautiful, wooded, campus contributes to a safe environment for students and peace of mind for parents. The school offers students strong academic instruction and support, enrichment opportunities in athletics, fine arts, robotics, numerous clubs and organizations, as well as online courses and dual enrollment options. Springwood has received the AISA President’s award 4 of the last 5 years, as well received the Blue Ribbon School Designation 8 times. The Class of 2019 was accepted to over 50 colleges and each year 100% of students enroll in a college or university of their choice, with many enrolling in top 100 colleges. Currently Springwood’s 30 international students make up 22% of the high school student population. Students live at the Springwood International House, the on-campus residential facility that opened in 2018. Our student residence has everything students need to feel at home. Springwood currently has enrolled students from 17 different countries. At Springwood, students are excited to learn, have exceptional opportunities that prepare them for college and their future, and a family of support who celebrates student achievements and encourages their dreams.
