The 5 boarding houses, each with its their own character and style, are located on campus within easy reach of classrooms and sports facilities and provide a home from home where all students, whether day pupils or boarders, can thrive and develop under the guidance of houseparents and their pastoral and domestic teams. By Year 10 all pupils have their own room whilst evenings and weekends are filled with an extensive programme of activities run by a Boarding Activities Coordinator.

Sports

All pupils are encouraged to experience the benefits of team and individual sports along with the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, a trap-shooting ground, a golf course and the 10 acre ‘Top Pitch’ with its extensive grass pitches, all-weather surface for hockey and tennis, hard tennis courts, squash courts, gym and climbing wall. The purpose-built art block has large bright studios whilst the recently opened £3.3m Performing Arts Centre houses a 350 seat auditorium with an orchestra pit and a dance studio where both classical ballet and contemporary dance are taught.
