As the largest school in New Zealand, Rangitoto has

school, specialising in music, drama and dance. We offer
over 40 different sports as well as a special Rugby Programme for International Students and an Athlete Performance Academy. Other school activities include art competitions, chess club, film club, Amnesty International, ecological work, UNICEF, debating and robotics.
Modern, purpose built facilities include one of New Zealand’s best secondary school libraries, free WiFi, an auditorium, an Olympic standard all-weather hockey turf, three gymnasiums and a weights room, an all- weather athletics track, five sports fields, laboratories for physics chemistry, biology and electronics, an English block featuring television and film studios and drama rooms, a music block with practice and performance space, a dance studio with sprung floor, and a large modern swimming pool and sports institute on the school boundary.
