New Mexico Military Institute

Founded in 1891, New Mexico Military Institute is the nation’s only state-supported, co-educational college preparatory military boarding high school and junior college. With an average class size of 16-20 students, NMMI cadets are taught by qualified faculty with Master’s or PhD’s. NMMI graduates find success whether they choose business, industry, public service, education or careers in the military. NMMI is a land grant institution which enables the school to provide a high quality education for an affordable price, and awards over $2M in endowed scholarships annually.
