Grand Rapids Christian School

Grand Rapids Christian Schools (GRCS) is a preschool through 12th grade independent Christian day school made up of five campuses serving students in the Greater Grand Rapids area of West Michigan. Founded in 1921, GRCS has strong reputation for providing excellent Christian university prep education. GRCS has a total student population of over 2,400. There are 800 students in the high school and about 4% of these students (grades 7-12) are international students, currently from 8 countries. Our high school receives an “A” rating on Niche. Grand Rapids Christian High School offers the following: a premier STEM program, college prep courses (16 AP courses and dual enrollment options), state of the art facilities, English Lab for 1st year international students, Winterim (a 2- week January experiential learning term), numerous extra-curricular activities and clubs, 27 varsity sports, private tutoring, college counseling, university trips, and several retreats throughout the year. All of this makes up our vibrant International Student Program. All international students at GRCS live with school-recruited and supported American host families. Both the school and the host families provide a Christian environment focusing on safety, support, and character development.
