Coquitlam School District

Coquitlam, in Metro Vancouver, is a public-school district in British Columbia, Canada. Nestled in the mountains and edged by the Pacific Ocean and the Fraser River, we enjoy a mild climate with a safe environment and an affluent lifestyle.
All of our 70 schools – including 8 high schools – are centres of excellence for teaching and learning. Our many and varied programs include Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, Sports Academies and a Confucius Institute.
Our teaching staff are B.C. Government Ministry of Education certified teachers. We have a B.C. Government approved curriculum, leading to a Secondary school graduation diploma that is recognized by all Canadian and USA universities. Students are carefully matched to Canadian homestay families.
We also offer an excellent Summer Program for individual students or for groups during the months of July and August. Coquitlam truly is an ideal setting for international students.
