Are you ready for a Campbell River adventure? Campbell River Schools International has been welcoming International students for more than 15 years. Our students rave about the connections, relationships and Canadian cultural experience that Campbell River offers. We believe in
a program that is flexible and personalized to prioritize our relationships with our students, our Host Families and our Partners. As a small program students can look forward to regular contact with Program Staff including a dedicated Homestay Coordinator, Academic Advisor, Activity
Coordinator and Program Secretary who all meet with students on a regular basis.
The school district serves approximately 5,500 students in 17 schools. Our two high schools, Carihi Secondary and Timberline Secondary accept students from grades 9 to 12 and operate on a Semester system. Intake into the two high schools is accepted in September (Semester 1) and the end of January (Semester 2). Campbell River has a local airport and is a quick 30-minute flight from Vancouver International Airport and a 4-hour drive and ferry ride from Vancouver. Host Families are an important partner in welcoming and supporting our International Students. They will introduce you to new foods, new activities and new experiences all the while supporting you during your time here in Campbell River.
