Calgary Catholic School District

We are the largest publicly funded Catholic School District in Western Canada. All staff strive to uphold the district’s mission of Living and Learning In Our Catholic Faith. The district’s size allows for a large dedicated support team, in addition to the teaching staff, that ensure students receive the support required to master the English language and the care needed for their emotional well-being.
We have 116 schools in the beautiful city of Calgary and the
neighboring smaller cities of Cochrane, Airdrie and
Chestermere that offer education opportunities from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs are also available.
We have an enrollment of over 57,000 students. Our schools provide many options besides quality teaching in math, science and language arts. Most high schools offer fine art classes in drama, music and visual arts. In addition, there is a strong history of athletic excellence within the district with many teams winning city and provincial titles with elite athletes receiving scholarships from prestigious Universities and Colleges in both Canada, and the USA. Career training courses such as mechanics, cosmetology, carpentry, business administration are also offered.
