The Windsor School

Founded in 1969, The Windsor School is a private junior and senior high school located in New York City, 30 minutes by metro to the center of Manhattan. We are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, an accreditation we have held for more than 30 years. We are a day school, with our own Homestay Coordinator, who arranges a homestay accommodation for our international (F-1) students. We accept F-1 students of all English levels and custom design a class program for each student. Our ESL instructors provide English language instruction in a small class setting. Our curriculum is carefully planned to meet the admission requirements for all universities. Students are encouraged to take Advanced Placement (AP) classes in mathematics, science, and studio art, where university credit is awarded. Our math team competes in the New York Math League Competition and has finished first or second, out of 175 high schools, in each of the past ten years. Our College Advisor works closely with each student, assisting them in the university application process. Students are encouraged to participate in our soccer, basketball, track & field, and tennis programs. School trips are planned during the year to Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Walt Disney World/Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and to the many museums and attractions in Manhattan.
