The MacDuffie School

The MacDuffie School is an independent boarding and day school for 275 Boys and Girls in grades 6-12. Founded in 1890 by Harvard graduates and accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, MacDuffie has 125 years of experience educating and preparing students for success in higher education and their chosen professions.
MacDuffie offers a challenging academic curriculum including college prep, honors and AP level courses. The ELL (English Language Learner Program) has four levels for students who need to improve their English fluency while earning credit toward graduation. MacDuffie offers comprehensive fine and performing arts as well as a three-season athletics program and after-school extracurricular activities. The average class size is 11 students.
Situated on 500 acres in a New England town, MacDuffie’s location is ideal for the international student. Students are safe and secure on our campus which is just minutes away from local shopping and college communities. The larger cities of Boston and New York are within easy driving distance. Students also enjoy the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire for winter recreation.
