The First Academy

The First Academy is a private, Apple Distinguished School and a National Blue-Ribbon school of excellence serving approximately 1,100 students in grades K-12 on our state-of- the art, 66-acre campus in Orlando, Florida; located only 25 minutes from the world renown Universal Studios and Walt Disney World resorts.
The First Academy has 22 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and offers a wide array of opportunities in student leadership, fine arts, athletics, and student-led clubs. The First Academy offers international students an exemplary English as a Second Language (ESL) program and personal guidance on the college entrance process.
Alumni of our International Student Program at The First Academy have been accepted into the United States’ most highly selective colleges & universities including Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University, and Yale University in the past year.
The First Academy utilizes and facilitates homestay boarding with host families within the school community. New international students have the opportunity to take part in our International Student Orientation and receive annual passes to Orlando theme parks.
