Archbishop Riordan High School

Located directly in San Francisco, Ca, Archbishop Riordan High School, an Archdiocesan Catholic High School in the Marianist tradition founded in 1949, prepares young men for leadership through its inclusive college preparatory curriculum. In a diverse family environment, the school encourages its students to develop individuality through academics, athletics, and the arts.
In 2017 Riordan launched a four-year honors Engineering Program for qualified students. In addition to advanced math and science courses, this challenging program prepares students for a college-level engineering major. Courses are taught in the Makerspace classroom that give students the opportunity to learn a variety of engineering skills in a collaborative setting.

Riordan operates one of the few boarding programs in a major U.S. city. Thirty seven students from eleven countries, Cameroon, China, Czech Republic, Ireland, Germany, Spain, South Sudan, Senegal, Taiwan, Vietnam and the U.S. currently live on campus.
